* This role is seeking a Data Engineer (The data will be HR focused and will start with Dayforce applications)
* 6 months to start but is expected to extend to a year
* Hybrid flex in Greenwood Village, CO - no set days but would need to be onsite when needed.
* 5 years of Data Engineer Experience
o Python and Pyspark expertise
o Experience: Machine learning models.
o Understands the concept of Lakehouse or Datalake
o Has worked with API data consumption.
o Has knowledge of data governance tools (ex: data lineage, metadata tagging, metadata catalog)
o Experience with Terraform REQUIRED
Job Summary
Help our partner teams ingest data faster into our data lakes while maintaining Data Governance and Compliance standards, find ways to make our data products more efficient, or innovate ideas to help build self-serve data engineering within the company. Build micro-services, architecting, designing, and promoting self-serve capabilities at scale to help us grow.
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support data engineering solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
Essential Functions
- Lead the design and implementation of complex ETL processes.
- Oversee data architecture and ensure scalability and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement advanced analytics solutions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
College Degree (4 yrs) is required
