Kolko and Casey - Associate Attorney

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney focusing on family and/or employment-based immigration cases.

Candidates should have:

  • Our preferred candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience as an Immigration Attorney
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and case management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task; as well as be deadline and detail oriented.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone that has flexibility, patience, an eagerness to learn and a sense of humor.

Job Duties: Oversee and manage family and/or employment-based immigration cases under supervision of Partners, including but not limited to:

  • Family-based permanent residency and naturalization applications;
  • Consular Processing of immigrant visa applications;
  • Removal defense and waiver cases;
  • Humanitarian-based applications including asylum, VAWA, U visa, TPS and DACA applications
  • Non-immigrant visa petitions (E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-2B, L-1, O-1, P-1, Q-1, R-1, TN) and port of entry packages;
  • Temporary and Permanent Labor Certification applications with DOL;
  • Employment based permanent residency applications;
  • In addition, manage client communication; attend client meetings; conduct; consultation meetings with prospective clients under supervision of Partners.

Salary Range: $65k - $90k (commiserate with skills and experience)

REQUIREMENTS.

-Experience: minimum of 1-3 years as an immigration attorney

-Education: Juris Doctor Degree from accredited law school

-Admission to Colorado or other State Bar

-Proficiency in Spanish or Other Language - highly preferred
