The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our products/services and drive business growth. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying target audiences, creating and managing marketing campaigns, and analyzing their effectiveness. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and will be instrumental in enhancing our market presence.Position Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaigns
    • Create and execute marketing campaigns for each Valley business unit and target market.
    • Develop monthly flyers and seasonal prebook catalogs.
    • Ensure quality and timeliness of campaigns executed by Marketing Specialist
  • External Creative and Event Planning Partners
    • Lead and manage external partners to ensure quality of work meets Valley’s goals and deadlines.
  • Trade Shoes/Expos
    • Assist sales and the HR Team in planning Valley’s participation in a variety of industry events and customer trade shows.
  • CRM System
    • Maintain and utilize customers and prospect data in CRM to ensure effective communication campaigns.
    • Lead continuous improvement of CRM system.
  • Website
    • Develop and maintain content for the valleybakers.com website.
  • Valley Events
    • Lead the planning, creation, coordination and execution of Valley events:
      • Annual Golf Outing
      • Annual Food Show
      • Annual Shareholders Meeting with Annual Report
  • Communications
  • Create, manage and execute Valley’s internal and external monthly communications in accordance with Valley’s brand playbook.
  • Leadership
    • Lead and manage all activities performed by the Marketing Specialist.
    • Ensure adherence to campaign and event budgets.
    • Measure and report on campaign ROI.
    • Lead Valley’s Strategic Communication Committee.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of marketing with solid project management and event planning experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading a successful Marketing team.
  • Strong knowledge and experience using CRM, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, and other marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on details and signing your work with pride.
  • Proven ability to be a fanatic about response time and deliver legendary service in a multi-business unit, deadline driven environment.
  • Proven experience building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and team members by listening generously, speaking straight, and setting clear expectations.
  • Strong ability to analyze root cause through blameless problem-solving skills to drive continuous organizational and process improvements.
  • Consistent ability to lead by example, celebrate success, and keep things fun.
