O'Neal Constructors is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Technician to provide onsite support for an upcoming capital project in Upstate SC. This position will coordinate project safety and accident prevention programs in an industrial construction environment, including inspections, subcontractor orientation, reports, and training. Under minimal supervision, the site Safety Manager will be required to assess hazards and recommend hazard mitigating strategies; monitor site health and safety daily for regulatory and client compliance, interface with client and subcontractor personnel; investigate incidents; conduct daily and weekly audits; and prepare reports. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in health and safety management in an industrial construction setting, OSHA 30 Construction training from an Outreach Training Institute, and current CPR/First Aid certification. Bachelor’s degree and OSHA 500 certification is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
