Job Summary

As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the admission process for patients entering our inpatient rehab facility. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a smooth and welcoming intake process for patients and their families, ensuring all necessary documentation and preliminary assessments are completed accurately and efficiently. You will serve as the first point of contact, providing essential information about the facility's services and programs, and assisting with the coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in intake or admissions, is highly desirable.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software.
• Empathy and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
