Good Shepherd Christian Academy is looking for 2 Licensed Elementary Education teachers. This employment opportunity will allow you to grow your skills as a teacher while making a difference in your students’ lives by sharing biblical truth as well as academic content. We are a state accredited, Class A school that offers academic content as well as art, music, physical education, and computer classes. Our school calendar mirrors the local community school district for School year start and end dates, spring and fall break dates and school holiday dates. We provide an Early Preschool program for 3-year-olds, a Kindergarten Prep program for 4/5-year-olds, as well as the Elementary program for Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Responsibilities:

• Help students learn basic concepts.
• Teach students proper study techniques.
• Act as a mentor to students.
• Help students develop social skills.
• Help students to improve their grades.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
- Familiarity with learning technology and its integration into the classroom
- Ability to create and implement engaging and differentiated curriculum
- Knowledge of literacy education and math instruction strategies
- Experience in early childhood education or childhood development is a plus
- Ability to mentor and support students in their academic and social growth
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students
- Familiarity with education administration and library services
- Understanding of early intervention strategies
- Writing skills for creating educational materials and communicating effectively with stakeholders
