Looking for Staff Pharmacist in Greenbrae, CA

Duration: 13 weeks full time contract

Shift: Night shift (2100-0730), 7 on and 7 off

Guaranteed Hours per week: 30

Overtime Starts After 40 Hours

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires level of education necessary for licensure as a pharmacist by the California. Prefer graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Prefer Pharm.D. degree and/or completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent.
• Two years experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy required.
• Current knowledge of drugs, their composition, actions, uses, toxic effect, dosage, availability and distribution. Ability to prepare sterile solutions. Superior ability to work tactfully with patients, public, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team, and skilfully supervise daily workflow and personnel. Ability to demonstrate initiative, and problem identification and solving skills. Excellent written and verbal skills for teaching, presentations and persuasion. Demonstrated organizational skills. Knowledge of pathophysiology and disease states required to evaluate complex therapeutic issues and to monitor and advise on drug therapy.
• Licensure as a pharmacist of California required.
