Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A is Hiring a Training Specialist Near Greenbelt, MD

Responsibilities and Qualifications - This role will be responsible for providing a variety of professional, high-level training services to the lawyers and staff of the firm through in person and remote training delivery to include, but not limited to:

•Develop training and development content; including videos, eLearning units, emails etc.

•Facilitate training programs on processes, procedures, software, policies, and best practices, using in-person classes, videos, and virtual delivery methods.

•Assist in the design and development of innovative, engaging, and effective learning programs, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual and in-person classrooms, and workshops, with a key focus on the holistic needs of the firm practices in support of attorneys.

•Assist in conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the firm.

•Knowledge of legal industry-specific software preferred (i.e., Document Management System).•Setup and training of new and existing employees in the use of document management, legal case management, trial presentation, E-filing, and video-conferencing applications, etc. according to established firm policies and procedures.

•Develop and update training resources, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, multimedia presentations, and online learning resources and learning programs.

•Make recommendations on future improvements to management, workflow processes, and user experience.

•Partner with the HR and IT teams to advise on the development of training programs and content, in close alignment with subject matter experts.

•Manage training spaces and ensure the environment is clean, comfortable, secure, and ready to host training.

•Complete administrative duties including but not limited to end of week reports, and end of class emails and reports.

•Stay up to date with legal industry trends and developments to ensure that training programs are relevant and effective.

•Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.

•Maintain expert level knowledge of JGL processes, procedures, software, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and corporate classroom and e-learning training experience.

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry.

•Experience in a technical training role.

•Deep knowledge of legal processes, procedures, and best practices.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

•Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver engaging training programs.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training-related software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,820.31 - $59,998.65 per year
