We are seeking energetic, innovative, and creative space nerds to join our growing team, who have experience or accredited college education in the following areas:

• Communications Systems Engineering: Interface definition and management; analyses and trade studies, end-to-end network performance, RF and baseband system/subsystem evaluation; system validation and verification; deliverables review and configuration management processes.
• Hardware/Firmware Engineering: Architecture definition of custom products and products based on commercial or opensource software frameworks; Development of algorithms and automation solutions using machine learning and deep learning technologies; Development of FPGA firmware.
• Software Engineering: Developing analysis and automation solutions built on machine learning and deep learning technologies; Design and development of custom tools to support customer needs including backend analytical processing and front-end GUI development; Database development and maintenance; Documenting architecture and design.
• Knowledge Management: Analyzing technical or political processes to develop guidance, educational or outreach material for a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders; Audience and stakeholder analysis to support engagement activities; Strategic planning, event, and meeting support.
• Spectrum Analysis & Planning: System compatibility assessment amongst RF systems; Modeling the spectrum environment to assess the probability of harmful interference to and from systems of interest; Identifying technical and operational coordination to mitigate interference; Spectrum architecture development and strategic planning; Stakeholder engagement, domestic and international regulatory and coordination meetings support.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in relevant degree fields. Relevant degree fields include: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics.

Years of Experience: 0-15 years of experience

Work Authorization: Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

These are full-time, on-site positions in Greenbelt, MD.
