Job Description
The Intake Coordinator will work closely with the Case Management and Employment Team.
Essential Functions
Maintain current knowledge of the U.S. Resettlement Program.
Maintain current knowledge of all Refugee and Immigrant Services programs.
Ensure that all enrollment paperwork in completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Evaluates and administers assessment tools for each client to determine if there is a greater need than employment services.
Meets with potential clients to accurately explain program services offered through LSSNCA and/or within the community.
Monitors the ongoing provisions of services from community agencies to ensure appropriate, timely and satisfactory.
Helps clients build informal support networks with other clients, family and friends.
Distribute records and other client documents to appropriate staff.
Maintain and update the client database tracking system with prospective referrals and their statuses.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required in a field of study such as Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field
Two (2) plus years of experience in Outreach, Communications, Public Speaking, and/or related fields.
Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point)
Willingness to engage in new and existing community stakeholders strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to take initiative and work well in a team environment and the ability to develop marketing material
Other Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.
Police clearance and clear drug test required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) essential
