Initiates routine operational and unit records, prepares tabulations or summaries; works under constant supervision, follows instructions, opportunity for discretion is limited and procedures well-defined, work is routine, may make suggestions for work improvement; works regularly with some information which is generally limited; discretion and integrity are recognized requirement for the job; handles or uses hand tools or clerical supplies or equipment which relatively are not easily damaged and to which failure to use due care will result in only minimum losses of time and money; position requires substantial contact with public and other employees to perform assigned work.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE:

• Sets up and maintains asset listings for industrial accounts;
• Responsible for substantiating all information relating to asset listings;
• Determine quality and condition of properties and then deciding if the value is an accurate representation of the property;
• Generates control record for new assessment years regarding add-ons;
• Prepares a variety of reports, some are computer generated and others that are individually created;
• Enters industrial assessments as dictated by outside appraisers;
• Maintains on-going and historic files;
• Distributes applications on exemptions and tax relief programs;
• Mails and emails a variety of tax notices and other forms;
• Maintains listing of information received from Treasurer's office pertaining to delinquent real estate tax accounts;
• Access to statutorily confidential information per W.S.18-3-201, W.S. 18-3-204 and W.S. 39-11-102(b) ;
