University of Providence is Hiring a Bus driver Near Great Falls, MT
Position Summary
This is a part-time position responsible for safely transporting student-athletes and staff to in-state and out-of-state athletic events.
You will ensure a smooth and comfortable ride while adhering to all safety regulations. The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with student-athletes is essential.
Responsibilities
- Trip Preparation : Works with athletic staff to plan routes, ensures proper bus climate control, and performs pre-trip inspections.
- Safe Transportation : Drives the bus safely and adheres to traffic laws. Oversees passenger safety during boarding, exiting, and travel.
Provides safety instructions.
- Communication & Reporting : Maintains records, reports delays or accidents, and informs supervisors of any issues.
- Professionalism : Maintains a positive relationship with student-athletes and university personnel.
- Administrative Duties : Fills out various forms and reports.
- Adaptability : Executes additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Licensing : Valid Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement (Class A preferred).
- Driving Skills : Ability to operate a bus safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Schedule : Must be available to work nights, weekends, and potentially overnight trips.
Experience
1 - 3 years' experience driving large passenger vehicles, school buses or commercial motor-coach.
