Specific Duties:

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs.
• Diagnose mental health disorders using the DSM-5 criteria.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social services, and community resources.
• Assist clients in accessing services such as housing, financial assistance, and vocational training.
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights within various systems.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
• Develop safety plans and provide support during acute mental health crises.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Prepare reports and documentation for insurance companies, courts, and other entities as required.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of social work and mental health.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional training.
• Adhere to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.
• Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• Master's degree (LMSW) | Current social worker licensure (LMSW) or LSCSW with the Kansas State Board of Social Work
• BLS Certfication
• Home Health Experience

REMOTE/ONSITE: Onsite, Great Bend, KS

Travel Required (between more than 1 Location): Hospital, St. Rose, and home visits |Driving Radius: 30 miles, have mileage reimbursement.

Shift Start/End Time: M-F days, normal office hours. Will have days every once in a while, that require candidates to be there for a support group, on Tuesday evenings that last about an hour to an hour and a half.
