Description

GKES has an immediate opening for a full-time Truck Driver in the Great Bend and Larned, KS area.

Must have a valid driver's license. CDL is required for this position and posses a clean driving record. Tractor and loader experience preferred, but not required.

Education / Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three month's related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability : Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

• Math Ability : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
