JOB TITLE Quality Specialist

SUMMARY :

Provides support, data collection and reporting of quality outcomes within the Quality Department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in mental health related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Licensure : N / A

Certification : N / A

Experience : Experience in clinical process and data collection and formatting.

Knowledge / Skills : Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations. Verbal / written communication skills. Proficient at Excel and Word.

EQUIPMENT : Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1.Workwithinthequalitymanagementdepartment tocollect,process andpreparevarious outcome information forpresentation.

3.Manageandmaintainthedatacollectionand reportingsystemforincidentmanagementand compliance.

4.Assistwithmaintainingvalidityoffinaloutput oftransmissionsofdatatosourcesoutsideof Frontier Health (NOMSdata).

5.Coordinates with Director of Organization Performance to collect and process rawdata for various program’s consumersatisfaction.

6.AssistwithtasksneededtomaintaincompliancewithCMSvaluebasedorincentiveprograms (MIPS,MU).

7.Facilitate organization performance improvement projects and ensure completion within timeline established by the Performance Improvement Committee.

8.Coordinate process mapping for various service lines.

9.Assistwithongoingdevelopment,implementation,andsuccessfulcompliancewithapplicable CARF, state licensure, health and safety, and other agency policies andprocedures.

10.Keep the Director of Organization Performance apprised of both potentialproblem areas and outstanding performance related to datacollected.

11.Maintain tracking methods related to national, state or local quality measures. Assist with compliance plans related to improving performance onmeasures.

12.All other duties asassigned.

  • Assures ongoing development, implementation, and successful operation of program services in compliance with applicable CARF, state licensure, health and safety, and other agency policiesand procedures
  • Effective timemanagement.
  • Attention to detail to ensure reporting data isaccurate.
  • Facilitates interdepartmental quality and performance improvementprojects.
  • Understanding of outpatient service delivery.
  • Maintain an environment of compliance and adhere to guidelines ofconfidentiality.
