**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Referral Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office procedures and possess knowledge of medical referrals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Process referrals outgoing from our primary care providers to specialists

- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations

- Coordinate with medical offices to schedule patient appointments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral records

- Communicate with patients regarding referral status and instructions

- Collaborate with insurance companies for pre-authorization requirements

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and managed care guidelines

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a medical office setting

- Proficiency in medical referrals

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with insurance verification processes

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
