Position: Payroll Administrator
$22.00-$24.00/hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls accurately and in a timely manner
• Assists with Payroll related tasks to ensure deadlines and compliance are met
• Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and deadlines
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and audits
• Fulfills administrative functions for the HR department including filing and clerical duties
• Completes special projects by setting timelines & schedules, conducting research, and developing & organizing information
• Enters new employees into the ADP database
• Assists in the processing of employment verifications
• Assists in performing daily Payroll related operations
• Maintain payroll records and documentation
• Provides excellent customer service to internal & external sources
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
QUALITIES AND SKILLS :
• Ability to take on multiple tasks at once while maintaining strong performance, consistency, and integrity
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Customer Service is a PLUS
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
REQUIREMENTS:
• At least one year of experience in payroll administration
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee/company information
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Work, and Excel
• Knowledge of bi-weekly and weekly payroll processing
• Understanding of payroll laws and regulations
• Previous Payroll experience a PLUS
• Previous experience with ADP databases a PLUS
• Previous retail experience a PLUS
