FactoryFix is Hiring a Maintenance tech Near Granite, IL
- Starting pay rate at $31.90 per hour
- Benefits begin 30 days after hire
- Training Schedule 0-6 months: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Permanent Schedule Post-Training: 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm - 6:00am or 6:00am - 6:00pm
- Cover all facets of mechanical, electrical, and preventative types of maintenance on various high-speed filling and packaging machinery.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment. Make necessary repairs and adjustments on machines and equipment during production to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Apply test equipment such as amp meter, fluke, and laptop computer to check electrical circuits, machine operations and process instrumentation.
- Meet with vendors and contractors as necessary to assure continued efficient and maintenance of equipment.
- Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure we are the low-cost, high-quality producer.
- Assist in the implementation of the QRMP program and training of new associates.
- Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and write electrical and electronic diagrams or schematics.
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical proficiency, troubleshooting ability, capable of reading electrical prints, and performing basic wiring up to 480 volts.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and strong ability to multi-task with excellent planning and organizational skills.
