As a People Operations Partner (Human Resource Generalist), you will be responsible for motivating and guiding people leaders and employees to create meaningful connections through our high-quality food and coffee. This hands-on role provides effective and timely support and counsel to employees and leaders on various people operations topics, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, payroll processing, performance management, change enablement, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with other human resource processes and policies.
IN A NUTSHELL
- People Operation: Provides day-to-day guidance to employees and leaders, offering HR support from recruitment to off-boarding to administer and execute human resource programs
- Collaborate with leaders and employees to provide support, balancing administrative and strategic responsibilities for all day-to-day people matters.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Drive the recruitment process in collaboration with people leaders. Proactively anticipate talent gaps, recruit for open roles, and effectively onboard top talent. Take ownership of coordinating and facilitating an excellent new hire onboarding experience.
- Business Partnership: Provide guidance and support to people leaders and ensure an open line of communication is maintained for fair and consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures
- Culture and Engagement: Partner with people leaders on executing employee engagement programs and initiatives, including one-on-one coaching and instructor-led education. Prepare employees for success by delivering effective onboarding, orientation, and education programs.
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communication or related field
- Four or more years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and best practices.
- Experience in the Manufacturing Industry
- Strong knowledge of and experience in HR Information System and payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of and experience in HR Information System
- Passion for the employee experience and is energized to regularly walk the floor and foster connection with all employees.
- Preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
