Job Description: The Technical Services Manager reports to the General Manager and is tasked with keeping our equipment and centers running in ship-shape order. Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills would be a plus. You will be responsible for training, managing and motivating a team of hourly technicians, maintaining cost objectives and staying on top of all that is going in inside Main Event. What makes a great Technical Services Manager? 21 years of age Ability to move lane maintenance equipment (approximately 250 lbs.), climb ladders and possess the strength required to repair, clean and maintain the facility machines and equipment Knowledge of bowling is preferred and a plus Have a deep working knowledge of the ins and outs of Main Event Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer and business requirements Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions Possess good customer relations abilities, outgoing and friendly manner, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all areas of job responsibilities Skills Required 3 Years of Relevant Experience Advanced knowledge of building maintenance Ability to Travel 10% of the time Ability to Complete Physical Duties Ability to work a flexible schedule On call 24/7 What will you be doing on a daily basis? Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all facility equipment Responding to trouble calls Performing all scheduled and maintenance duties Demonstrating proactive leadership by ensuring positive guest experiences and providing hands on training to technicians.
