Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing residential properties. You will play a crucial role in ensuring tenant satisfaction and maintaining high occupancy rates.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct property tours in Lewiston and Niagara Falls and showcase available units to prospective tenants

- Screen and qualify potential tenants by reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and verifying income

- Assist with lease negotiations and ensure all lease agreements are accurately prepared and signed

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner

- Maintain knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities

- Collaborate with property management team to develop marketing strategies to attract new tenants

- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing lease documents, maintaining tenant records, and processing rental payments

Skills:

- Knowledge of administrative processes related to real estate leasing and property management

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with tenants, landlords, and colleagues

- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in lease agreements and tenant records

- Proficient in using computer software programs for data entry, document preparation, and communication

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
