Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team at WSB Grafton! The Brewer will work in conjunction with management, brewery owners and the marketing team to develop interesting and unique beers that consumers will enjoy. This will involve creating recipes and brewing small batches for testing. The beers must be designed to not only taste great, but to satisfy consumer demand in the market. The key responsibility of the craft brewer is to oversee the brewing process. They will ensure the brew recipe is being followed accordingly and accurately and the beer is stored correctly. They often direct other staff to ensure brewhouse operations are being performed adequately.

Responsibilities:
- Operate brewing equipment to produce high-quality craft beer
- Monitor and adjust brewing processes to maintain consistency and quality
- Package finished products for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the brewery
- Perform routine maintenance on brewing equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Experience in brewing craft beer preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles
- Ability to fabricate and repair equipment as needed
- Proficiency in sanitizing brewing equipment and work areas
- Experience working in a warehouse environment

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Must have the ability to walk and stand routinely throughout the shift. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with ease and push up to 350 lbs. with the appropriate equipment. Must have the ability to deal effectively with the stress of responding quickly and be engaged in multiple tasks.

Environmental Conditions:

Performs duties with exposure to infectious or communicable diseases inherent to working in high-volume atmospheres and occasional exposure to loud or unpleasant voices due to unpredictable behavior of customers and seasonal exposure to high humidity due to temperature control of the facility locations. Exposure to varying types of ware chemicals, cleaning agents and various types of food service areas that contain possible hazards such as slippery surfaces.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.73 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
