Burke Catholic is looking for a Modified (7th & 8th grades) Girls Volleyball Coach to join our school community to help provide our student-athletes with an overall positive high school athletic experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading practices, developing drills, and teaching the fundamentals of the game. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and a commitment to helping our student-athletes reach their goals. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about the game, has strong leadership skills, and is able to motivate and inspire our players.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
• Motivate players to reach their full potential.
• Develop players' technical and tactical skills.
• Monitor players' performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate with parents and guardians.

NOTE: Upon hire coach will need to being the process of obtaining NYS Department of Education Coaching Certificate. A description of the process will be provided during interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Grade levels:

• 7th grade
• 8th grade

Schedule:

• After school
• Weekends as needed
