Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide dermatology care and procedures, along with cosmetic dermatology
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as applicable to dermatology
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Provide dermatology procedures within your passion and scope of practice
- Perform utilization review and utilization management to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult, Geriatric, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred, but new graduates will be considered
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
