Job Description:
The Night Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for picking cases of foodservice product each night, while using a stand-on, electric pallet jack and a voice trained headset. The cases of product are then strategically built on pallets and shrink-wrapped to be delivered to our customers. Case weights are from 5 lbs up to (occasionally) 90 lbs, but the average weight is between 25 to 50 lbs.
The Shift:
- Sunday through Thursday
- Fridays and Saturdays are days off
- 4:30 pm start time
- Finish time when all orders are complete
Pay: $19 per Hour Piece Rate Bonus
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred
- Experience working with an RF scanner/Voice Picking system preferred
- Previous experience operating power equipment preferred
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
- Ability to work in a refrigerated and freezer work environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team or independently
