Full Time Sunday through Thursday 6:00pm to 2:30am
Purpose Of Position/SummaryThe Floor Care Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of all assigned floor areas and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Must be proficient in the operation of various floor care equipment including floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums with a strong knowledge of appropriate chemical applications for each flooring type. Will perform other job duties as assigned.
RequirementsPRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Cleaning carpeting and/or flooring inside and outside of all common areas on property including dining rooms, ballrooms, clubhouses, pro shops, tennis centers, fitness centers, patios, and other areas as assigned. Carpet cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing hard surface flooring using various machines such as scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors.
- Measuring/handling cleaning chemicals adhering to safety guidelines including wearing PPE as required.
- Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
- After-use cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment.
- Assist Cleaning Specialists.
- Minimum 2 years experience and knowledge of using floor care machines such as scrubbers, buffers and carpet extractors used in cleaning tile, wood, carpets, etc.
- Knowledge of sanding down floors in order to recoat/refurbish.
- Flooring Certifications preferred (not required) IICRC- Carpet Cleaning Technician
- FCT- Floor Care Technician
- WFMT- Wood Floor Maintenance Technician
