Aspen Ridge Animal Hospital is a busy small animal facility located in northwest Golden with an excellent clientele. We are currently seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician or Assistant. We have been providing excellent veterinary care to the surrounding area for over 18 years; offering a wide variety of services including Laser Therapy, digital radiology, dentistry, surgery and more. Aspen Ridge Animal Hospital was voted Golden Neighborhood Best Veterinary Hospital for the past 6 years. We are a privately owned 1 and 1/2 doctor facility. We are seeking a person who is friendly, able to multi-task and self motivated.

Responsibilities would include blood draws, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, assisting the doctor in surgery when needed, dental prophies- including dental radiographs. The ideal candidate should be prompt, self- motivated and has excellent communication skills with clientele and a team player.

Our flexible schedule promotes an ideal professional and personal balance work week. Aspen Ridge is less than a hour from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, paddleboarding, camping, fishing and any other outdoor activity you would want to enjoy. The schedule is a 2-3 day work week with 2 Saturdays per month. Benefits include employer match 401K, PTO, CE stipend, pet care, paid holidays. We are open 7:30 to 5:30 on week days and 8 to noon on Saturdays.
