Position QualificationsCertified or eligible for Board Certification in Psychiatry; Colorado licensed physician required.
Work Schedule and Environment: This position is required to work onsite in Glenwood Springs, CO.
Job PurposeParticipates and collaborates with multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric services. Demonstrates advanced application of psychiatric and pharmacologic knowledge, skills, critical thinking and analysis. Demonstrates leadership by providing perspective in problem solving, decision making, and planning activities to achieve patient outcomes. Consults with staff as necessary to instruct them on clinical interventions necessary for achieving quality patient outcomes.

Knowledge, Skill & Ability(include Materials And Equipment Directly Used)
- Working knowledge of individual, group, family and crisis treatment approaches and their application to clients with emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse problems;
- Advanced application of psychiatric & pharmacologic knowledge, skills, critical thinking & analysis.
- Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
