Our Busy Ford Parts Department needs to add a Team Member ASAP! Looking for a counter person to assist in the selling, ordering and delivery of automotive parts to our service department, and outside customers.

The schedule for this position is Mondays through Fridays 7am-4pm or 7am-5pm. No weekends or nights! Shop is also air conditioned.

Position is paid weekly, hourly plus commissions. We follow 731 union pay plan which starts at $26.45 hourly for 3 years of experience plus commissions.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Previous automotive parts sales experience preferred
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a dealership is preferred. Auto Parts Store Experience Also Acceptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have general computer skills and knowledge.

We utilize a variety of softwares.

• Must possess professional customer service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid IL Drivers License and Pass a Background Check before starting in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in the selling, ordering and receiving of parts
• Monitor, track and receive parts orders and shipments
• Generate and receive purchase orders
• Tag monitor and process warranty parts
• Complete all manufacturer / dealership training courses and certifications
• Stay up to date with service bulletins, recalls and policies
