JOB SUMMARY
Our client is looking to fill a part-time Bookkeeper position to assist with accounting projects. This position is essential to financial processing and recording. This may include certain reconciliations, cash disbursements for clients, processing payroll, invoices, 1099's and sales tax reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties below include, but are not limited to:

• Works with CFO to file quarterly Illinois Sales & Use tax returns, W-2's and Annual 1099's.
• Processes outstanding check state report submissions.
• Cuts checks for clients, vendors, etc. - extreme precision is required.
• Keeps clients organized by establishing and organizing files, documenting actions; inputting information into Great Plains accounting database
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• As assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION OR EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelors' or Associates' Degree
Experience:
Reporting Skills, Research Skills, Administrative Skills, Client Relationships, Organization, Planning, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability, Excellent communication skills, Strong computer skills, Problem solving skills, Team player

• Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bank reconciliation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)
• Accounts receivable: 1 year (Preferred)
