Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (Registered Nurse) to fill an opening located in Glens Falls, NY for $66/hr. (taxed non-taxed)

Requirements of the RN (Registered Nurse):

● Must have AHA BLS Certification.

● Must have valid NY RN License or compact state RN License.

● Must have Covid card or Medical/Religious Exemptions with Letter Head mentioned.

● Pass a Background check / medical test / skill test / drug test.

Responsibilities of the RN (Registered Nurse):

● Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM

● 24 hours/wk.

● 13-week contract

● Every other weekend/holiday

Pay Rate: $1,584.00 Gross/week.

Break down Details:

Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,162.00

Taxable Weekly pay: $384.00

Hourly rate (Blended) : $ 66.00

OT Rate (Blended) : $ 74

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and interpret vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertions and ventilator management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Skills:

- Proficient in HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience in case management and medical office settings
- Strong knowledge of physiology and disease processes
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth
- Ability to perform patient assessments and prioritize care effectively
- Skillful in IV insertion techniques
- Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary
