Cleaner/Janitor

Seeking a hardworking, reliable, office cleaner/housekeeper to clean office space Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:00pm.

T.M. Bier & Associates, Inc. (TMBA) is one of the largest independent Control Systems Engineering and Support firms in the New York Metropolitan area. Established in 1977, we are a privately owned, stable, family business.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties for the building/office space.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and lunchroom.
• Vacuums and dusts entire building; periodic floor washing & window cleaning.
• Empties all trash daily.
• Performs limited grounds maintenance including ensuring parking lot is free of trash.
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, climb, reach and lift up to 40 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able to communicate in English.

Work Location

Glen Cove Office space.
