Job Description

The Training Coordinator provides oversight for the Training and Onboarding of all Bello Machre employees. The Training Coordinator works within the Human Resources Department and works with managers to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training and professional development opportunities for new and existing employees. This position will also oversee the coordination and successful implementation of a National Direct Support Professional Apprenticeship Program. The Training Coordinator monitors compliance of the Bello Machre’s Policies & Procedures during all training programs and builds relationships with managers to ensure transfer and compliance of new and ongoing knowledge, skills, and aptitudes of employees.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the training progress and status of all Bello Machre employees, including on-boarding new employees. Coordinate with employees, supervisors, and trainers to ensure adequate training opportunities at times that meet the needs of both the employees and programs.
  • Assist employees with registering and attending training courses required for regulatory standards and professional development.
  • Develop and facilitate professional development courses for employees based on key competencies, skill gaps, and employee requests.
  • Oversee the orientation and onboarding process, focusing on employee engagement, cultural fit, and successful transition to new positions. Provide recommendations and solutions for improvement in processes, policies, and overall operations.
  • Provide administrative oversight to our Learning Management System. Including maintaining employee profiles, organizational hierarchy, reporting on course completion, and updating curricula as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with community partners to implement a National Direct Support Professional (DSP) Apprenticeship program.
  • Communicate training concerns to all relevant parties, including employees, supervisors, and training partners.
  • Ensure data integrity with all organizational databases including HRIS, Time and Attendance, and LMS.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in Human Resources, Training Coordinator, Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work and projects
