Description

 Oasis Medical and Surgical Wellness Group is seeking a Medical Biller/Coder. The ideal candidate must have knowledge in the medical field.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures 
• Assign appropriate codes from provider documentation to include; assignment of ICD-10, CPT-4 codes and modifiers (when applicable) 
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
• Submit claims to insurance companies 
• Demonstrate good communication and team work skills.

Education:

• High School diploma
• CPC, CCS and ICD-10 certified preferred 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of coding and billing experience required 
• Strong Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills 
• Excellent communication, follow up and interpersonal skills
