- Performs recreational activities in conjunction with activities department.
- Provides daily assistance with personal care to include dressing, undressing, bathing, personal hygiene, removal of soiled linen.
- Obtains vital signs and records as directed.
- Prepares residents for meals, assists in meal delivery, and clean up.
- Assists residents with activities including reminders, participation delivery and documentation.
- Performs housekeeping tasks daily; cleaning of assigned rooms, bathrooms, common area to include vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, emptying trash, making beds, changing linens, as assigned.
- Promptly answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs.
- Conducts room checks, rounds, and monitors and reports environmental safety hazards.
- Completes documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Adheres to infection control policies and procedures as established by the facility.
- Assists with resident’s laundry.
- Runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.
- Maintains the confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.
