We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the summer. The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring each student receives a tailored education plan to achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Location : Gilbertsville, PA

Schedule :

• June 24th August 1st (Excluding July 4th)
• Monday - Thursday
• 8 : 30 AM 12 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, adapting teaching strategies and materials to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to facilitate inclusive educational experiences for students with special needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents / guardians, colleagues, and other stakeholders to support student learning and development.

Qualifications :

• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
