Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive money for purchases and calculate customers change, may have to operate cash register depending on the marina
- Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from vessels
- Greet customers courteously and sell merchandise to them
- Clean restrooms, docks, walkways, sidewalks, equipment and other areas as requested
- Performs opening and closing job duties
- Help customers find the item they desire to purchase on the shelves
- Maintaining the outlook of the store. This implies cleaning, arranging, and when necessary stocking the shelves
- Ensure excellent retail experiences to customers
- Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Excellent customer service skills – known as someone who goes above and beyond
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills
- Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
- Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail.
