The Finance Manager is accountable for driving results by providing decision support through financial modelling, business case analysis and financial/management reporting. The Finance Manager participates in review of revenue contracts, transactions and financial reports; evaluates financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities; and advises management accordingly to support targeted financial performance achievement. In addition, the Financial Manager exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Your Responsibilities

• Review contracts, purchase orders and invoicing to assess proper revenue recognition treatment.
• Support initiatives to drive efficiencies around revenue recognition and reporting processes.
• Contribute to the organization by partnering with group to drive improvements through harmonization and best practices.
• Review and analyze net revenue and billing activity to ensure completeness and accuracy of all required transactions.
• Assist in performing selling price analysis, coordinating with multiple departments in the organization to analyze costs for product/service offerings.
• Develop an understanding and detailed knowledge of various products through independent discussions and research.
• Work with sales & operations planning to analyze the impact of new contracts and other changes to manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand what impacts revenue and provide indicators of changing revenue markets.
• Provide oversight for plant costing activities including material, labor and overhead standards.
• Update product costs during annual cost roll and throughout year when appropriate

Requirements for the role

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 5 years of Revenue/Cost Accounting experience
• Progressive Financial Analysis experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• MBA preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
