Truity Partners, LLC is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Germantown, WI

Our client in Germantown is seeking a temporary Collections Specialist to join their team. There is also a chance for permanent hire if performance is exceptional during the temporary period. The ideal candidate will possess at least three to five years of business-to-business collections experience and be able to start immediately. The job is 100% on-site in Germantown Monday through Friday and 40 hours per week with the opportunity for hybrid work after 90 days. Please apply for immediate consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contact customers who have past-due invoices via phone calls, emails and mailings to remind them of their payment obligations and to arrange payment plans if necessary.
  • Manage customer credit status, terms and limits for existing customers using payment history patterns, information from customers and sales force and 3rd party credit reports.
  • Reduce days outstanding of invoices through collections of those past due accounts.
  • Run accounts receivable reports and distribute the appropriate parties.
  • Review and release orders on credit hold.
  • Work closely with other members of the finance and accounting team to ensure that billing and payment processes are efficient and effective.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook, and experience with collections software preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
