Placement By Design is Hiring a Senior Interior Designer Near Georgetown, TX
The Senior Interior Designer will report to Project Principal-In-Charge (PIC) and Project Manager (PM).
Responsibilities
- Produce and design projects through every phase of interior projects, from initial conceptual client presentation through project close including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of interior designers in the creation of project deliverables.
- Coordinate with Project Coordinator/Manager (PM) and Design Lead (DL) on overall design of project.
- Act as "face of the projects" serving as the main contact for the interior design of the project.
- Must have a good working sense of form, space, order, and context
- Ability to teach, mentor and train our team
- Ability to work through and present multiple solutions
- Ability to produce and develop a concept
- Will collaborate with product vendors and other industry leaders to stay on top of current trends and new materials.
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design.
- Minimum of (5) five years experience working in an Architectural firm
- Project type experience K-12 and higher education facilities, municipal facilities, or housing.
- Proficiency with Revit is required.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite preferred.
- Registered Interior Designer in Texas preferred.
