About The Opportunity
Ensure spare parts are organized and readily available and accessible by conducting inventory, ordering, and organizing all spare parts for the Technical department.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory, organize and catalog all spare parts for the Technical Department within the spare parts area and in the CMMS system to ensure adequacy.
- Create Requisitions for all Technical Purchases.
- Maintain Maintenance PMs for forklifts to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Track equipment updates and contact suppliers as needed to conduct updates.
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes for various items.
- Track and ensure contractor PM documentation is current.
- Track monthly R&M spend for the location.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Required: High school diploma
Desired: 2 year Technical or Associate degree
Work Experience:
Required: 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience
