Advanced Office Care is a woman-owned janitorial and floor maintenance service business. Since 2006, we have been servicing Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes. **Job Overview:**

We are seeking a Lead Custodian to oversee and manage the custodial operations at a plant in Geismar from 12-8pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

**Duties:**

- Supervise and lead a team of custodial staff

- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing

- Train new custodial staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols

- Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Coordinate with management to schedule cleaning tasks

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning

- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals

- Ability to maintain facilities to high standards of cleanliness

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Excellent communication abilities to interact with team members and management
