Job Summary
We seek an Operations Associate to join our team at our Garner, NC, warehouse location. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Associate will be responsible for daily activities, including finished goods and parcel shipping, receiving, put-away, and item-picking.
As an Operations Associate, you must maintain WMS system integrity, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform a wide range of warehouse duties, such as receiving, put-away, picking, packaging, and shipping, to achieve specific objectives and targets
Ensure that all transactions and inventory movements are accurately recorded to maintain inventory accuracy
Utilize various moving equipment (motorized and manual), hand-held scanners, zebra printers, tape guns, and shipping software to perform daily tasks efficiently
Repalletize incoming pallet loads that have been compromised during transport or storage in accordance with safety protocols
Package outgoing parcels and pallets in compliance with written Work Instructions using approved methods and supplies to guarantee the safe and secure delivery of goods
Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all processes are executed consistently and efficiently
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize the risk of accidents and injury
Maintain cleanliness in medical devices and pharmaceutical warehouses through regular cleaning intervals to comply with industry regulations and to ensure a safe working environment
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
Mostly controlled but potentially varying internal environmental conditions, including temperature and noise changes within acceptable safety levels typical to a warehouse environment.
Work may involve long-term standing, sitting, and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouses, re-packaging, or Engineering labs and navigating common hazards related to these areas.
Must be able to carry, lift and push / pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 occasionally.
Must be able to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk.
Weekend and overtime work may be required.
Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
