Job Summary: The Associate Auditor will assist in various auditing and compliance activities of Ohio Catholic FCU.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Documents an understanding of department/branch policies, procedures, and the internal control system.

• Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures; responsible for the completion of all audit assignments effectively and within the scheduled time frame

• Performs audit program steps to test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.

• Maintains effective and professional working relationship with the bank staff in audit areas.

• Assists senior leadership in identifying and evaluating risk exposures.

• Performs special projects and assignments under direction of management.

• Identify process efficiency or productivity improvements and/or cost reduction opportunities.

• Travel to branches will be required to complete audits.

• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• Ability to understand financial records and banking operations.
• Ability to review company documentation to complete audits in a timely and proficient manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete work within a specified time frame.
• Ability to research various types of company documents and budgets to identify necessary information for specific audits.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: May lift up to 25 lbs.;Office work- must be able to use a PC and phone; hearing and sight are required to perform this job; may need to sit or stand for long periods of time in front of a computer. Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between branch locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
