Software Engineer The Genesys Digital & AI group plays a pivotal role in providing the innovations that enable global brands (over 7,500 organizations in 100 countries) to orchestrate customer experiences across all communication and engagement channels. As an engineer in our customer-oriented group, you will design and build products that utilise machine learning and data analytics to solve real-world problems for our customers, working alongside accomplished engineers and researchers who will help take your impact to the next level. Location: For this position, we are considering candidates who are able to work from our Galway office on a hybrid basis. What You Will Do: Develop robust backend systems using Python and / or Java, integrating cutting-edge analytics and data science technologies. Engage in all phases of agile software delivery, including conceptualization, research, proof of concept, product chartering, rapid iterative development, production hardening, and on-call maintenance. Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software architecture. Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Maths, Physics, or related disciplines.
