Amergis Healthcare Staffing is Hiring a RN Cath Lab Near Galveston, TX
FROM THE DEPARTMENT: There is call for the Cath/EP lab. Call starts once the last case is completed. The employee must respond to the call within 30-35 minutes. So they must live close by. There is a requirement to wear lead as much as 20 pounds for 10-12 hours per day.
- Call can be 10-14 days. Currently call is 7 days that includes a full weekend (Friday-Sunday)
- Unpredictable work hours. Patient care is the most important part of the job. So we may not leave at 1730.
- There is late team and call team that will perform the last two cases of the day.
- Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours wearing a lead apron of 20 lbs or less.
- 4 days/week with workday starting at 0645 and the first cases clear to place on the table at 0715.
- 13-weeks with option to renew
