Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid NM LPN license in
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth
- Experience working in various healthcare settings such as medical offices, hospitals, or clinics
- Familiarity with specialized areas such as working with people with developmental disabilities, ophthalmology, or ICU is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
