Your Choice Health Care Group, LLC is looking for a Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in the Gallipolis Ohio and surrounding area. We offer a $500 sign on bonus, as well as company car!

Qualifications:

1) Ohio COTALicense

2) Ohio Department of Education Assistant Certification

General Description of Position:

Under supervision of Licensed Occupational Therapist, provides Occupational Therapy services to clients of Your Choice Health Care, LLC.

Essential Functions:

1) Assists in the practice of Occupational therapy in providing:

a. Improves/ maintains functional strength and/or movement.

b. Improves/ maintains mobility.

2) Assists the Licensed Occupational Therapist in collecting data for evaluations and progress monitoring.

3) Responsible for keeping Licensed Occupational Therapist informed of all new information relevant to clients receiving services.

4) Completes documentation in a timely fashion in accordance with agency procedures.

5) Summarizes, records and reports data to the Licensed Occupational Therapist at appropriate times.

6) Maintains an efficient and effective schedule of services to clients.

7) Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies.

8) Safeguards the confidential nature of privileged information.

9) Maintains continuing education in related field of service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of: Integrated model of service delivery in homes, appropriate therapy, and safety practices.

Ability to: interpret policies, procedures, and regulations; follow instructions; communicate effectively; maintain files and records; collect data; prepare required reports; promote a favorable image in the best interests of the Your Choice Health Care Group, accept and request assistance when situations warrant; share information with other staff, work effectively with coordinators and other staff in prioritizing work.

Equipment operated: Computer, equipment related to Occupational therapy services.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
