Over the next three, the state of Tennessee will have more than 315,000 trades-related job openings. Our nonprofit, Trades for Success, aims to help close that gap.
Our new career development specialist will become the face of Trades for Success, leading the charge in recruiting the next generation of tradesmen and tradeswomen.
He or she will be passionate about connecting with people, introducing them to the trades industry, and helping them find a purposeful and successful career path that aligns with their trades-related skill set.
The career development specialist will spend ample time out in the community sharing valuable information about the trades industry and the Trades for Success brand.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess exceptional people and communication skills, and have the ability to work alongside high school guidance counselors, youth pastors, and other community members.
To us, the best way to reach this standard consistently is to build an entire team of crackerjacks.

Career Development Specialist Responsibilities :
Passionately and professionally articulate information about the trades industry
Raise awareness about career paths in the trades industry and match people with opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the community
Meet with schools, guidance counselors, pastors, etc. to spread the word about the industry and Trades For Success
Coordinate and partake in speaking engagements
Assist with events relating to the brand
Secure non-profit donations
Serve as a liaison between Trades for Success and other Milliken brands
