BasisPath is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and implementation. Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
• Resolve various tasks as prioritized by the team product owner.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, operating within well-defined parameters.
• Break down sizable tasks into manageable units for execution and provide LOE estimations.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to create and document technical designs.
• Collaborate with fellow software engineers to create and document optimal technical designs.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Working knowledge of Agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery methodologies and tools.
• Deep understanding of modern software design patterns and coding standards.
• Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex software systems into production.
• Strong proficiency with the following technologies: 
  • Web: HTML, CSS, Django, and REST APIs
  • Object-oriented Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript, and REACT
  • Relational Database: Postgres
  • Operating System: Windows, Linux
  • Version Control System: Git, Jira.

• Experience with scripting languages
• Familiarity with software architectures such as Client-Server and Model-View-Controller.
• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures like AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, and Oracle.
• Specific AWS services experience: S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, and RDS.
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or similar.
